Due to Covid 19 many fundraising events across the UK have been cancelled. As a result many charities are losing vital income and some may have to close. The Virgin Money London Marathon is by itself the world’s biggest one-day fundraising event, raising over £66.4 million for thousands of charities in 2019. This year it was set to take place on Sunday April 26th. It has now been rearranged to hopefully take place in October. However some charities may not last until then, especially when many are seeing increasing demand for services due to Covid 19.

The 2.6 Challenge is a campaign to raise vital funds. It will launch on Sunday April 26th. From the 26th April, the public is asked to dream up an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and fundraise or donate to Save the UK’s Charities via twopointsixchallenge.co.uk

The only requirement is that in whatever you choose, you maintain the social distancing guidelines.
